Foldable iPhone is listed for fall 2026, but Apple has said nothing

Rumors

Reports place Apple’s first foldable iPhone in fall 2026, with a book-style design.

Apple’s first foldable iPhone is listed in the CMS calendar as an expected fall 2026 product. Reports describe a book-style device with a larger inner display and a premium price, but Apple has not confirmed the product.

A book-style foldable would give the iPhone a larger screen when opened. It would also introduce tradeoffs in thickness, weight, hinge durability, and cost that do not apply to conventional iPhone models in the same way.

The fall 2026 timing and the possible iPhone Fold or iPhone Ultra names remain unconfirmed. The product should be treated as a reported roadmap item until Apple shows it publicly.
