AirPods Max: Why I’m Still Using Them

If they keep the same design language I'll buy pads, not a new unit.

First-gen Max since launch. Second set of pads, mesh still fine, sound still my favorite for playlists. USB-C-only refresh controversy misses that Apple treats these like fashion durables. If Max 2 doesn't cut weight, I'm buying pads again and waiting.

Aluminum build still looks premium on a desk. Heavy in a bag.

ANC still class leading on airplanes. That keeps me loyal.

Dead serious.
