Hero Dog Guarded Her Tiny Brother In Busy Street Until Help Arrived
When cars swerved past two lost dogs on a busy road, a brave shepherd mix wrapped her body around her 5-pound buddy.
When traffic ground to a crawl on a busy Los Angeles County road, rescuers Suzette Hall and Rosario Ortiz of Logan’s Legacy 29 quickly realized why. Lying directly on the centerline were two lost dogs, completely unfazed as cars swerved around them.
The unlikely pair consisted of Nova, a large brindle shepherd mix, and Benji, a tiny curly-haired pup weighing no more than five pounds. As vehicles rushed past, Nova wrapped her body around her little friend, standing guard and ensuring he stayed safe from harm.
