Two models, both with ANC
AirPods 5 start at $129 — same entry price as last generation’s non-ANC model, now with ANC included.
AirPods 5 with wireless-charging case are $149, adding on-stem volume swipe, a wireless-charging case (Apple Watch / Qi), and longer battery life (Apple cited up to about 5 hours with ANC on that configuration).
Pre-orders open today. Availability begins Friday, September 18 — the same launch Friday as iPhone 18 Pro.
