An early Geekbench 7 listing puts iPhone Duo roughly in line with iPhone 18 Pro models on the shared A20 Pro chip, days before Friday pre-orders.
An early Geekbench 7 result for iPhone Duo puts the foldable roughly in line with iPhone 18 Pro models on Apple's shared A20 Pro chip, MacRumors reports (Juli Clover, October 14, 2026). Notebookcheck and Gadgets 360 separately clocked the same listing ahead of Friday pre-orders.
The tested unit is identified as iPhone19,4 running iOS 27.1. It posted a single-core score of 3986 and a multi-core score of 11067, with a 6-core CPU clocked at 4.93 GHz. Memory is listed as 11.30GB, which corresponds to 12GB of RAM. GPU Compute was not included in this run.
iPhone Duo and the iPhone 18 Pro line use the same 2nm A20 Pro configuration: a 6-core CPU and 7-core GPU. MacRumors notes the Duo result sits in the same range as multiple 18 Pro and Pro Max submissions, though it falls short of the highest Pro scores seen so far. Scores vary from run to run, and this is a single public listing.
Notebookcheck frames the result as putting Duo among the strongest foldables on paper, citing Xiaomi's 18 Fold with the Xring O3 as a near rival. That comparison is cross-platform and should be treated cautiously until more sustained and GPU numbers land.
Apple says A20 Pro delivers up to 20 percent faster CPU performance and up to 40 percent faster GPU performance versus A19 Pro. Real-world Duo performance may still diverge from candy-bar Pros because of thermal design and dual displays, even with the same silicon.
Apple has also published out-of-warranty Duo repair fees ahead of the same pre-order window.
