Apple is accepting iPhone Duo pre-orders after 5:00 a.m. PT. Some early checkouts still show October 23 delivery; others report November windows and sold-out nearby pickup within minutes.
Apple is accepting iPhone Duo pre-orders through apple.com and the Apple Store app as of 5:00 a.m. Pacific Time on Friday, October 16, MacRumors reports (Juli Clover). 9to5Mac (Chance Miller) likewise says the foldable is available to order, with the first units due on launch day, October 23.
9to5Mac notes that Apple is restoring the store in waves. If checkout is not visible yet, refresh the site or app until the configurator loads. Customers who completed Get Ready ahead of the cutoff can finish with fewer taps once their session is live, MacRumors says.
Apple’s stated availability date remains Friday, October 23. MacRumors and 9to5Mac both say buyers who secure launch-day fulfillment can expect devices that day. Apple typically shows a delivery or pickup estimate only after you choose finish, storage, and a shipping ZIP or store, and those estimates are not a guarantee.
In the first minutes after the open, early buyer posts on X described a mixed picture:
Those are individual checkout observations, not an official inventory count. Availability varies by color, storage, carrier path, and location, and windows can move while you are still on the bag page.
iPhone Duo ships in Night Sky and Star White at U.S. prices of $1,999 (256GB), $2,199 (512GB), $2,599 (1TB), and $3,199 (2TB), matching Apple’s September Newsroom pricing. AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon are also taking pre-orders with their own trade-in offers; MacRumors has a carrier deals roundup for the U.S.
