I've been bouncing between Pixel Fold and keeping an iPhone for iMessage. If Duo lands near $2k with solid durability and proper multitasking, I might consolidate. Big if — Apple's first hardware in a category is rarely the one price-sensitive buyers should jump on. Waiting on hinge cycle tests and outer brightness reviews.

People compare this to Samsung like Apple needs to catch up. Different game. Apple ships later, charges more, wins on continuity. Risk isn't Reddit mocking a crease — it's whether apps get real dual-pane layouts or just stretched phone UIs forever.
