Pokémon × Beats Pill special edition with Pikachu and Mimikyu launches October 15 for $149.99

Beats and The Pokémon Company International on October 13 announced a special-edition Pokémon × Beats Pill portable speaker featuring Pikachu and Mimikyu. The collaboration pairs Beats signature sound with Pokémon artwork on the grill, and it is the first Beats Pill to ship with charms.

Chris Thorne, Beats CMO, said Pokémon Trainers are among the most passionate fans, and the collab aims to give them a new way to express that through sound. MacRumors notes the speaker otherwise matches the standard Beats Pill: gray body and grill, with the Pokémon art as the main visual change.

Design and charms

The front and back of the grill use Pikachu electric yellow and a grayscale take on Mimikyu. Included bespoke charms cover the iconic Poké Ball, the Beats "b" logo, and lightning bolts tied to Pikachu. Beats also calls out playfully interactive packaging, a color-matched removable lanyard, and a soft-grip silicone backing. In the box, Beats lists the speaker, the removable carry lanyard and charm, and special-edition Beats × Pokémon stickers.

Sound, battery, and durability

Beats describes a bespoke acoustic system with deep bass and room-filling volume. Listeners can plug in over USB-C for high-resolution lossless audio, or wirelessly pair two Beats Pills in Amplify Mode or Stereo Mode. Battery life is rated up to 24 hours. The speaker is IP67 for dust and water resistance. A compatible phone can charge from the speaker over the included USB-C cable.

Pokémon.com highlights the same core pitch: room-filling sound, deep bass, long battery life, and dust- and water-resistant seals for home or on-the-go use.

The special-edition Pokémon × Beats Pill is priced at $149.99, the same as other Beats Pill variants. It goes on sale Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. PT. Sales are limited to three markets:
