Couple's First Visitor at Their New Home Was a Neighbor's Dog Who Knocked on the Door
When Pita the Goldendoodle knocked on Nicole's door to play with her pup, she ended up turning the house into the neighborhood's favorite dog hangout.
Moving into an unfamiliar neighborhood can feel daunting, but when Nicole and her husband relocated to Los Angeles with their dog Fia, they didn't have to wait long to meet the locals. Before any human neighbors stopped by, a cheerful Goldendoodle named Pita showed up right outside to give them the warmest welcome possible.
As reported by ETtoday Pets, Pita lived next door and instantly bonded with Fia. The fluffy pup made visiting a daily ritual, even learning to gently tap on the front door with her paw to announce it was playtime. Nicole and her family were charmed by their sweet regular visitor, but Pita's friendly habit was only the beginning.
Soon, Pita began introducing Fia to other dogs on the block, and neighboring pups quickly followed suit. Other dogs started walking up to Nicole's door and knocking to see if their canine friends were free to play. What started as one dog's curiosity blossomed into a beloved community hub, bringing neighbors and their four-legged best friends together across the entire street.
