Friendly Neighbor Dog Knocks on Door Every Day to Demand Playdates With Her Best Friend
When Nicole moved to a new home, an outgoing neighbor pup named Pita showed up at her front door—and united the whole community.
Moving into a brand-new neighborhood can feel daunting, but Nicole and her dog, Fia, received the warmest possible welcome. Shortly after they unpacked, an enthusiastic neighborhood dog named Pita showed up right at their front door. As Nicole told The Dodo, Pita was the very first one to greet them—and the second Nicole opened the door and let her inside, Pita and Fia formed an instant, joyful bond.
Living right next door, Pita soon made stopping by her favorite daily mission. Whenever she was out on walks with her dad, she would bound onto the porch and physically tap the door with her paws to request a playdate. The two pups quickly established an adorable routine; whenever Pita had to head back home, Fia would perch affectionately at the window, eagerly watching for her best friend.
