Born around March 2023, Deus experienced frequent instability during his early months, moving between several homes before arriving at the shelter. His most recent surrender followed behavioral friction with other resident dogs, leaving the energetic Siberian Husky to navigate kennel life on his own.

Shelter life can be taxing for any dog, but southern Spain’s coastal warmth creates an added challenge for a thick-coated northern breed built for brisk air and long treks. With kennel space naturally limiting his daily sprint time, Deus put on a bit of extra weight—a side effect of his hearty appetite and restricted exercise rather than a lack of enthusiasm.
