Apple confirmed Monday, September 14 as the public launch for iOS 27 and companion OS updates. Siri AI arrives in English the same day, with five more languages planned for October.
Apple has confirmed that iOS 27 and its companion operating systems will ship to the public on Monday, September 14 — less than a week after Surprise and Shine.
MacRumors and 9to5Mac both report the date from Apple’s post-event materials. Apple’s Health newsroom note also pegs watchOS 27 to the same Monday (requiring an iPhone on iOS 27).
What’s launching September 14
Apple’s site lists the same day for:
- iOS 27 / iPadOS 27
- macOS 27 (Golden Gate)
- watchOS 27
- tvOS 27
- visionOS 27
iOS 27 keeps the same iPhone compatibility floor as iOS 26 (iPhone 11 and newer, including second-generation iPhone SE and later), per MacRumors. Headline software includes Apple Intelligence refinements and the new Siri AI assistant.
Release candidates for several of these OS families also began seeding after the keynote.
Siri AI language timeline
Apple also clarified the Siri AI rollout during the event, according to 9to5Mac:

9to5Mac notes Apple’s continuing caveats that Siri AI is not available in China or the EU at launch amid regulatory issues. Apple has previously said some server-side Apple Intelligence features carry daily usage limits, with expanded access tied to most iCloud+ plans.
