MacRumors reads 12GB of RAM for both iPhone 18 Pro models in Xcode 27 — flat vs last year’s Pros, with Duo expected to match via the same A20 Pro.
Apple does not advertise RAM on iPhone spec sheets, but MacRumors says the latest Xcode 27 device definitions list:
That matches last year’s iPhone 17 Pro / Pro Max memory footprint — no year-over-year RAM bump even as U.S. starting prices rose $100 to $1,199 / $1,299 amid the industry DRAM shortage MacRumors notes.
Xcode does not yet expose an iPhone Duo target in the same readout. Because Duo shares the A20 Pro with the Pro models, MacRumors expects 12GB there too — treat that as inferred, not yet device-definition confirmed.
For buyers chasing Apple Intelligence headroom, the takeaway is continuity with 17 Pro rather than a new memory ceiling. Pre-orders: Saturday, September 12 (5:00 a.m. PT); availability: Friday, September 18.
