Apple’s EU energy labels confirm SIM-tray iPhone 18 Pro at 4,056 mAh and Pro Max at 5,391 mAh — a utility check beside the 45-hour video claim.
Apple’s marketing leans on video playback hours. The EU energy labels on product pages add the mAh numbers buyers actually compare.
Per MacRumors’ read of Apple’s EU labels for models that still have a SIM tray:
The Max’s capacity jump is the clear year-over-year story on paper; the non-Max Pro gain is modest.
Those figures are for SIM-tray units (UK/EU and most non-eSIM-only markets). eSIM-only Pro countries (U.S., Canada, Japan, and others) omit the tray and typically ship a slightly larger battery — Apple has not published those eSIM-only mAh figures yet.
Pre-orders still open Saturday, September 12; availability Friday, September 18.
