iPhone 18 Pro storage prices: 1TB costs $300 more than last year
Apple Store lists every U.S. storage tier for iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Base prices rose $100 — but 1TB is $300 more than last year, and 2TB tops out at $2,399 / $2,499.
The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max announcement led with $1,199 and $1,299 starting prices — a $100 rise over last year’s Pro models. The Apple Store now lists every U.S. storage tier, and the jump is steeper once you leave the base configuration.

Both models offer 2TB for the first time on the Pro size; last year’s Pro line topped out at 1TB on Pro (Pro Max already had 2TB).
Year-over-year: where the pain is
Compared with iPhone 17 Pro pricing outlets tracked last cycle (MacRumors):
- Base 256GB is +$100 on both sizes ($1,099 → $1,199 Pro; $1,199 → $1,299 Pro Max)
- 1TB Pro moves from $1,499 to $1,799 (+$300)
- 1TB Pro Max moves from $1,599 to $1,899 (+$300)
- 2TB Pro Max moves from $1,999 to $2,499 (+$500)
So the headline “only $100 more” is true for base storage — and incomplete if you regularly shoot ProRAW, 4K120, or keep large local libraries.
