Gurman separates HomeView’s mid-November availability from October 30 Apple TV and HomePod mini arrivals, with preorders opening this week ahead of Tuesday’s Welcome Home event.
Mark Gurman says Apple’s HomeView smart home display is not expected to ship until around mid-November, while the refreshed Apple TV and HomePod mini are on track to arrive October 30, with preorders opening this coming week. The update lands two days before Apple’s October 13 “Welcome Home” experience in New York.
In a Sunday post on X, Gurman named the hub HomeView and separated its availability from the speaker and set-top box refreshes that share the same unveil window. 9to5Mac and MacRumors both relayed the same timing split, citing Gurman’s reporting.
Beyond the mid-November HomeView window and the October 30 Apple TV / HomePod mini arrival, today’s reporting fills in naming and hardware detail that earlier “Welcome Home” coverage still treated as open:
Those points are still rumor until Tuesday’s event. They do not change the already confirmed October 13 date; they clarify what ships when after the announce.
Apple is still expected to show HomePod mini and Apple TV refreshes next to HomeView on October 13. Gurman’s Sunday note puts those two on an earlier retail path: preorders this week, devices in customers’ hands October 30. HomeView follows later, around mid-November.
Partner accessories from Apple’s LG second-party home program remain part of the broader smart home story, but they are not the focus of today’s timing update.
