Long-Haired German Shepherd Uses Heartmelting Paw Begs to Go Outside in Heavy Rain
Four-year-old Hades was determined not to let a typhoon ruin walkies, using his gentlest paw and sweetest puppy-dog eyes to convince his mom.
Rainstorms might keep most dogs curled up indoors, but four-year-old long-haired German Shepherd Hades isn't most dogs. When heavy torrential rain swept through during a recent storm, Hades made it crystal clear that bad weather was no excuse to skip his favorite daily outing.
The sweet pup approached his owner with an irresistible tactic. Gently resting his giant fluffy paw over her arm and softly nudging her snout-first, Hades stared up with deep, earnest eyes. Whenever his mom warned him that it was pouring outside, he simply pulled her hand closer as if pleading, "A little water won't hurt, Mom, let's go!"
When his mom initially held out, Hades dramatically flopped onto the floor, wearing a crestfallen expression of utter betrayal. But his emotional persistence worked like a charm. Realizing she couldn't resist his heartfelt pleading, his mom suited him up in a cozy raincoat—and Hades happily trotted out the door with a beaming smile on his face.
