The secondary market value for Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has taken a sharp hit early in the NFL season. A 2020 Panini Contenders Red Zone Rookie Auto graded BGS 9.5 with a 10 autograph sold for $960 on Sunday, down 57% from a previous sale of $2,250 recorded three and a half months earlier.
The $1,290 decline, tracked by Card Ladder, coincides with a difficult 0-3 start for Los Angeles. In their recent 24-16 loss to the Buffalo Bills, Herbert completed 20 of 34 passes for 226 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Through three games under offensive coordinator Mike McDaniels, Herbert has thrown three touchdowns against four interceptions.
