A LeBron rookie auto ran from $28K to $40.6K in its last two days on Alt; Brady's Championship Ticket auto PSA 8 is bid to $650K at Goldin, just above February's comp; and Kobe's high school jersey opens at Sotheby's today with an estimate 20–39x its 2013 price. An Alt auction closing early Oct 16 ET sold a 2003-04 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection LeBron James rookie auto #127 (061/250), BGS 9.5, for a US$40,612 hammer (~HK$319K), or US$48,734 (~HK$382K) with the 20% buyer's premium, on 15 bids.

Per LotScan's bid log, the bid was US$28,137 on the evening of Oct 14 ET and jumped to US$38,112 within 90 minutes: +44% in the final two days.

Goldin: Brady Championship Ticket auto PSA 8 bid to $650,000

CardWire reports the 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket Tom Brady rookie auto #144 (045/100), PSA 8, has 36 bids at US$650,000 (~HK$5.10M), about US$793,000 (~HK$6.22M) with Goldin's 22% premium. It closes Saturday night ET in the Monthly Sports Elite.

Comps:

Another PSA 8 (cert 04000963) sold for US$660,000 (~HK$5.18M) at PWCC in 2022 and US$630,000 (~HK$4.94M) at Fanatics Collect in February.
That same slab sold for US$1,113,250 (~HK$8.74M) at Heritage in July, with a 10 autograph grade.
Above US$660,000, this lot beats both same-grade comps.

MLB: Brewers sweep, two rookies move in opposite directions

The Brewers beat the Dodgers 6-4 on Oct 15 to sweep the NLCS; the World Series starts Oct 23. Per CardWire:

Kobe's mother sold it through Goldin in 2013 for US$51,181.73 per USA Today (~HK$402K; PhillyVoice cites US$51,400). For comparison, his Lakers rookie-season jersey sold for US$2.73M (~HK$21.4M) in 2022.
