iOS 26.7, iPadOS 26.7, Sequoia 15.8, and Tahoe 26.7 are live for older OS trains

Apple’s index links a dedicated advisory for iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7. MacRumors separately reports that iOS 26.7 carries a large security slate (including many of the same fixes as iOS 27) for users who are not jumping to the new major release yet (MacRumors security rundown).

These are not feature trains. Expect important security / bug-fix packaging without Siri AI and the rest of the OS 27 headline set.

How to install

• iPhone / iPad: Settings → General → Software Update. If you are eligible for iOS 27 / iPadOS 27, you may see both the major update and 26.7 — scroll if needed, then choose deliberately.
• Mac: System Settings → General → Software Update. Eligible Macs can show macOS 27 Golden Gate alongside Tahoe 26.7 or Sequoia 15.8.

If you already moved to OS 27, you do not need these companion builds.

Why this matters today
