T-Mobile prices iPhone Handoff at $5/month for iOS 27
T-Mobile’s Apple launch PR confirms iPhone Handoff — one number on two iPhones — will cost $5 per month, filling in the fee Apple only hinted at.
T-Mobile has put a price on iPhone Handoff: $5 per month.
The fee appears in T-Mobile’s September 10 Business Wire launch release for the new Apple lineup. The carrier says it is “one of the first” to support the iOS 27 feature that lets customers use one T-Mobile number across two compatible iPhones and choose which phone is active. “T-Mobile is introducing the feature at $5/month,” the release states.
That answers the pricing gap left in our earlier carrier-limit story, which noted Apple’s “carrier fees might apply” language and that T-Mobile had not yet published a rate. MacRumors separately reported the same $5 figure.
What you get for $5
Per T-Mobile, the secondary iPhone can use calls, texts, data, mobile hotspot, Scam Shield, and T-Satellite on eligible plans — without managing a second number. Handoff works on via Settings, and the carrier says it is ready from day one on the new lineup and .
