EU Filing: Apple Acquired Certain Samplab AI Audio Assets and Hired Some Employees

An EU Digital Markets Act register entry dated June 17, 2026 shows Apple, through a subsidiary, will acquire certain assets of Zurich audio-tools firm Samplab GmbH and hire certain Samplab employees. The notice became widely reported on October 19, 2026.
