Neglected Dog Who Lost All His Fur Makes an Unbelievable Transformation
After surviving on his own following his owner's death, Rocky found safety, love, and a forever family.
When Texas resident Ashley Buchart came across a post on Facebook, she could not look away. A dog named Rocky had been left to fend for himself after his owner passed away, leaving him emaciated, weak, and missing nearly all of his fur from mange, dermatitis, and severe flea allergies. A neighbor alerted rescuers, and with veterinary care sponsored by Mutts N Such Rescue, Buchart offered to open her home to him.
As reported by The Dodo, Rocky was completely exhausted upon arriving. Sensing he was finally safe, the sweet dog walked straight to a cozy bed in the corner and slept soundly for two straight days. With proper treatment, good food, and gentle care, Rocky's condition improved rapidly. His coat grew back in, his legs regained strength, and he soon began running zoomies on his daily walks.
