Viltrox brings full Air Series AF primes to L-Mount, from $168

Viltrox launches four compact full-frame Air Series AF primes for native L-Mount — 14mm f/4, 20mm f/2.8, 40mm f/2.5, and 50mm f/2 — shipping now from $168 to $199.
Viltrox has launched its full Air Series of compact full-frame autofocus primes for native L-Mount — four lenses already familiar on Sony E, now available for Leica and Panasonic L-Mount shooters.
Per Viltrox’s Sep 22, 2026 announcement (as reported by PetaPixel and Newsshooter), the lineup covers ultra-wide through standard:
The four Air L primes
- AF 14mm F4.0 Air L — 112.6° field of view; closest focus 0.13 m (0.23×); 172 g
- AF 20mm F2.8 Air L — lightest in the set at 159 g; closest focus 0.19 m
- AF 40mm F2.5 Air L — everyday / street walk-around; closest focus 0.34 m; 169 g
- AF 50mm F2.0 Air L — brightest of the four at F2; closest focus 0.51 m; 205 g
Viltrox says all four are native L-Mount, support in-camera corrections, and use compact optical designs with ED, HR, and aspherical elements aimed at controlling chromatic aberration. Autofocus is STM-class across the set.
