MacRumors says contributor Aaron Perris uncovered Apple’s own code and product images for three unreleased devices: a next-generation iPad mini, a HomePod mini 2, and an Apple TV 4K (4th generation). The finds landed Friday, September 25, 2026, and the site frames all three as likely October announcements — still a reporting expectation, not an Apple date.

iPad mini: A20 Pro, landscape camera, speaker groove
In MacRumors’ dedicated iPad mini write-up (Hartley Charlton), code and front-facing product images are said to show:
- An A20 Pro chip
- A landscape front camera — the last iPad line still on the older portrait placement, per MacRumors
- A small groove cut from the top of the display glass (iPhone-like), presumed for the speaker
- Volume and power controls still on the top edge
MacRumors is not publishing the underlying file paths. Front images leave rear and side-profile changes unknown.
Separately, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has previously reported water resistance and a vibration-based speaker for the next mini. MacRumors says the leaked icons appear to corroborate that speaker direction — corroboration of a prior rumor, not a new Gurman scoop in this drop. HomePod mini 2: same silhouette, new color set

A new chip and Siri AI support are widely expected for the refresh, but those are prior rumor / expectation, not what this particular image dump proves.
