Mandler has published final pricing and launch timing for its 50mm f/1.4 PRE-ASPH E46 lens for Leica M-mount. The company says the lens will be announced on September 20, 2026, at 3 p.m. London time (10 a.m. in New York).
Pricing is set at $368 for the black aluminum version, listed at 290g, and $548 for the silver gray chrome-plated brass version, listed at 385g. Mandler says shipping costs and applicable taxes are covered for most destinations, and each lens includes a one-year warranty and dedicated after-sales support.
The lens is a third-party M-mount design inspired by the Leica Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 PRE-ASPH E46—not a Leica product. Mandler lists a seven-element, five-group spherical optical design, built-in 6-bit coding, full-frame coverage, a 0.5m minimum focus distance, a retractable hood, 12 aperture blades, and a 46mm filter thread. The company also says an LTM version will follow later.
The announcement date and specifications come from Mandler’s product information as reported by Leica Rumors. Independent testing and broader availability remain to be established.
