Beats launches Beats 360 over-ear headphones at $349.99 — orders open Sep 22, retail Sep 24. Studio Pro stays at $299.99. New acoustics, interchangeable cushions, IPX4, and Apple + Android features.
Beats has officially launched Beats 360, a new flagship over-ear headphone priced at $349.99. Orders opened September 22, 2026, with retail availability beginning Thursday, September 24, according to MacRumors and Beats’ own announcement.
Beats 360 does not replace Studio Pro. Studio Pro stays in the lineup at a new $299.99 price (down from $349.99). Beats positions 360 as a rethinking of its over-ear design around sound, comfort, and customizable cushions.
What’s new vs Studio Pro
Compared with Studio Pro, Beats says 360 uses a completely new acoustic architecture that delivers:
- Up to 1.75× more active noise cancellation
- About +12 dB more output, with clarity across frequencies and low distortion
- An 8-microphone ANC system, plus Transparency mode
- Adaptive EQ when ANC and Transparency are off
- Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking
Interchangeable cushions
Beats 360 ships in four colors — Black, Cloud, Pink, and Sky — each with matching Performance Knit ear and headband cushions. Cushions are removable and interchangeable.
- Performance Knit kits: the four core colors plus Volt and Navy
- UltraPlush kits: Black and Cloud (engineered leather, similar in feel to Studio Pro / Solo 4 cushions)
Sensors detect cushion type and retune ANC and EQ so listening stays consistent across materials. Kits normally cost $49.99; through October 31 Beats is running a launch promo at $9.99 in select markets (US, UK, Canada, Australia, France, China, and South Korea).
Design, battery, and platforms
Beats 360 is the first Beats over-ear with an IPX4 sweat and water resistance rating. Each earcup is an independent wireless unit (own battery, antenna, and processing), linked by a single power cable in a thin headband — USB-C charges both sides from one port.
- Battery: up to 32 hours with ANC; Fast Fuel gives about 1 hour from a 5-minute charge
- Apple: one-touch pairing, iCloud pairing/switching, Audio Sharing, Find My, Hey Siri
- Android: Fast Pair / ecosystem pairing, Audio Switch, Find Hub, and the Beats app
Unlike Studio Pro, the headband does not fold; earcups twist flat and pack into a woven ripstop case with magnetic closure.
Beats 360 is available to order at apple.com and other retailers in the U.S. and more than 100 countries and regions, with in-store availability from September 24. Cushion kits, USB-C cables, and power adapters are sold separately.
