Tesla Opens New Supercharger Voting After 36 Sites Are Selected
Tesla has published 36 new Supercharger voting winners and reopened the next three-month round, but the selected sites still need permits, power and construction before drivers can use them.
Tesla has opened a new three-month Supercharger Voting round after publishing 36 locations selected in the previous cycle. Tesla’s program lets account holders cast up to five votes, with one vote per proposed site, and says the winning locations will be among its next Supercharger sites.[1][2]
The latest list includes Jurien Bay in Australia, Niseko in Japan, Bidor in Malaysia, Osong-eup in South Korea, Qiwei in Taiwan, and sites across Europe, North America, the Middle East and South America. The full slate includes 16 locations in the United States and three in Canada.[2]
Tesla’s official voting page says each cycle runs for three months and lets owners suggest locations for a future round.[1] That makes the program useful as a signal of where drivers want more coverage, but a winning vote is not the same as an opening date. Land, electrical supply, construction and permits still have to be resolved before a site becomes usable.[2]
Tesla owners can sign in to Tesla’s Supercharger Voting page to review the current candidates and allocate their five votes. The company has not published construction schedules or final addresses for the newly selected sites.[1][2]
