Apple raises Apple One Family and Premier prices in 12 European countries

Apple raises Apple One Family and Premier prices in 12 European countries

Family and Premier go up by about €2 a month in markets including Spain, Portugal, and Switzerland. New subscribers pay the new price now, existing ones at renewal, and Individual is unchanged.

Apple has raised the prices of its Apple One Family and Premier bundles in 12 European countries, the latest in a string of Apple One increases this year. Apple began emailing affected subscribers on October 5, MacRumors reports. New subscribers pay the higher prices right away, while existing subscribers move to them at their next renewal date. The Individual plan is unchanged.

French-language site iGeneration first spotted the change in Belgium, Luxembourg, and Spain on October 4, after a reader noticed the new price in their subscription settings, and later added Switzerland.

Where prices went up

  • Apple One Family: Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Hungary, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Switzerland. iGeneration also lists Luxembourg.
  • Apple One Premier: Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland.

How much more you'll pay

The increase is €2 a month in euro markets, with similar increases in other currencies. Apple's own pricing pages already show the new rates:

  • Spain: Family rises from €25.95 to €27.95 a month and Premier, sold as Premium in Spain, from €34.95 to €36.95. Individual stays at €19.95.
  • Portugal: Family is now €23.95 and Premier €32.95, each €2 more than before. Individual stays at €16.95.
  • Belgium: Family rises from €25.95 to €27.95. Apple doesn't offer Premier in Belgium.
  • Switzerland: Family rises from CHF 31.90 to CHF 33.90 and Premier from CHF 40.90 to CHF 42.90. Individual stays at CHF 23.90.

The bundles are still cheaper than paying for each service separately. On its Spanish Apple One page, Apple says Family saves €12.01 a month and Premium saves €20 compared with subscribing to the included services individually.

What each plan includes

  • Individual: 50GB of iCloud+ storage, Apple TV, Apple Music, and Apple Arcade.
  • Family: 200GB of iCloud+ storage and the same services, shared with up to five other people.
  • Premier: 2TB of iCloud+ storage, Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and Apple Fitness+, plus Apple News+ where it's available, shared with up to five other people.

The third round this year

MacRumors counts this as at least the third round of Apple One increases in 2026. Family and Premier already went up in the U.S., Australia, Canada, the U.K., and other countries earlier in the year, and Individual rose in the U.S., Brazil, Chile, and Mexico. Apple's U.S. site now lists Individual at $21.95, Family at $27.95, and Premier at $39.95 a month.

In Spain, Applesfera calculates that since Apple One launched in 2021, Individual has risen 33%, Family 40%, and Premium 28%.

Apple's notice covers European markets only. In Taiwan, Apple currently lists Individual at NT$390 and Family at NT$490 a month, and Premier isn't offered.

The price rises come as Apple keeps adding to iCloud+, the storage tier at the core of every Apple One plan, most recently with more iCloud Mail aliases and more custom-domain addresses. Apple's other family-focused subscription, AppleCare One Family, covers devices for up to six people for $49.99 a month in the U.S.

If you want to change plans

Apple One is a monthly subscription with no long-term commitment. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions to switch between Individual, Family, and Premier, or to cancel. Apple says to cancel at least one day before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next month.

Apple One Family and Premier just got pricier. What's your move?
