Greg Joswiak teased "pro and tell next week," with media invited to a Los Angeles experience on October 28 as rumors point to OLED MacBook Pros, M6 Macs, and an OLED iPad mini.
Apple marketing chief Greg Joswiak posted a short tease on Monday: "Can't wait to pro and tell next week," alongside invite artwork that matches Apple's recent non-keynote product experiences.
Secondary reporting from MacRumors, 9to5Mac, and MacStories says members of the press have been invited to an in-person experience in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 28, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. As with Welcome Home on October 13, Apple is not expected to stream a traditional keynote; most people will see the news through press releases that day.
Confirmed (Apple): Joswiak's public "pro and tell" tease for next week, in the same format Apple used ahead of Welcome Home.
Reported (secondary): A Los Angeles media experience on October 28 at 10:00 a.m. PT, with press releases for everyone else.
Rumored (not yet confirmed by Apple): The product mix below, drawn from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman and other secondhand reporting summarized by MacRumors.
OLED touchscreen MacBook Pro. Rumors say high-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models will add OLED panels and touch input, with a reinforced hinge, a Dynamic Island instead of the notch, and a lighter chassis. Chip expectations are muted: reporting points to the same M5 Pro and M5 Max silicon already in today's models, with M6 Pro/Max skipped and M7-class chips not expected until late 2027. OLED and touch modules would likely push pricing above the current Pro lineup, and Apple may keep selling existing models alongside the new ones.
Entry-level MacBook Pro and iMac (M6). The base 14-inch MacBook Pro and the 24-inch iMac are expected to move to M6 with little or no exterior redesign.
iPad mini 8 (OLED). An OLED iPad mini is expected to debut alongside the Macs, reportedly with a design refresh, a relocated front camera, and the A20 Pro chip from iPhone 18 Pro. Whether it gains ProMotion or an IP rating remains unconfirmed in public reporting. Soft accessory details that are still thin are left for closer to launch.
After an October 28 reveal, Gurman has said availability could land as soon as Friday, November 6, with pre-orders possibly opening the same day as the announcements, similar to the home product cadence.
